Meet Legislative Experts Joe and Sandy Mapes

With a combined 100 years of experience in the Louisiana political process, these two are on the “B” Team. They be here before the legislators got there, and they be there after they gone! Sandy Mapes is recognized as one of the state's most effective lobbyists. Her career began with a passion for her own industry, leading her to found the Louisiana Salon Owners Association in 1980. This experience as a business owner and entrepreneur gives her a unique perspective on the challenges our clients face. As an integral part of Mapes & Mapes, Sandy continues to leverage her extensive experience and insight to deliver results for our clients. Joe Mapes is in his 51st year of being a Louisiana lobbyist. His autobiography will be published posthumously.
