Mapes & Mapes personnel is "on the clock" 365 days a year 24/7 and available for electronic or in-person interaction. 

What services do you offer?

Mapes & Mapes is a full-service lobbying and governmental relations consulting company. Certainly, we work to promote and protect clients' interest within the confines of the legislative process, but that is only one part of what we do (and there are different levels of legislative representation). We can monitor and report only, kill and amend legislation only, or monitor, amend, pass, and kill legislation all at once. Outside of the legislature, we work with different state agencies, year-round, in the agency rule-making process as far as rule implementation and its affect on a particular industry or profession, or even in the case of an individual. 

What solutions do you offer?

Each solution is tailored to the client's specific need. Possible solutions include legislation, state department rule change, and/or interaction facilitation between all interested parties on a particular issue.

Who is on your management team?

Sandy Mapes founded the Louisiana Salon Owners Association in 1980. Her passion for the industry ultimately led to her becoming its president and lobbyist. Soon after, her interest in the legislative process segued into her career as a lobbyist. With her lobbying career spanning over 32 years, her experience as a business owner and entrepreneur has made Mrs. Mapes Louisiana’s most effective female lobbyist. This diverse background led to Mrs. Mapes’ participation in Louisiana’s political process and her affiliation with Mapes & Mapes where she remains as an integral part of the company.
